The actual scope
Wet utilities below grade — water, sewer, and storm systems sized from neighborhood plats up to 12-inch arterials. Recent example: 5,500 LF of 12″ water main on the Brewery District revitalization in Tacoma.
From subgrade to surface course on city streets, arterials, and private site roadways. Includes complete-streets work — ADA curb ramps, pedestrian refuge islands, midblock crossings, and HAWK signal beacons.
The dirt move that has to happen before anything else gets built — clearing, mass excavation, and structural fill at scale, on schedules that hold the rest of the trades behind us.
Permitted environmental work: building wetlands from scratch, restoring damaged systems, fish passage and stream habitat improvements, and full site remediation.
The dry-side of the trench: electrical raceways, communications, and signal infrastructure, all installed by IBEW-signatory crews. Recent example: full electrical duct bank on the Brewery District build.
In-house GPS / AutoCAD survey and project management means a single source of truth for layout, takeoff, and schedule — no waiting on an outside surveyor to come back to confirm a line.
What ends up in the ground
Distribution mains 4″ through 12″+, fire-protection looping, hydrants, services and meters, valve clusters, well abandonment.
Gravity sanitary, force main, lift stations, storm conveyance, detention/retention vaults and ponds, BMP outfalls.
Subgrade through final lift — HMA paving, grind & overlay, concrete curb / gutter / walk, ADA ramps, channelization.
Electrical duct bank, manholes & vaults, HV/MV wiring, traffic signal foundations, HAWK beacons, communications conduit.
